Passed down, not made up
The name comes from our first teacher, Mother Earth, and the passing of her teachings — through me, Jasmine Lorraine, to you, a fellow creator on this earth. We are all creators, shaped by what we've learned from her.
Here, we'll build a corner of the internet filled with knowledge we all have access to — knowledge that teaches us to create more than we consume, and to let whatever we do consume feed back into creation. Just like the life cycles we see in nature.
A few things we don't compromise on
-
Nature guides our creations, always
We don't rush what nature hasn't finished yet. A starter needs its own time to wake up, a season decides what fruit shows up in a galette — we follow that rhythm instead of working against it.
-
Our minds will be empowered and enhanced
Every hour spent creating — kneading, testing, tasting, adjusting — is an hour spent learning something the body already half-knew. That kind of attention sharpens the mind as much as it feeds it.
-
Nutrition that actually nourishes
Real ingredients we can picture the source of — flour from an actual mill, fruit from an actual market — because food that nourishes has to start with something worth nourishing you in the first place.
-
Small physical changes made on purpose
We keep what we make small enough to actually pay attention to — a handful of loaves, one batch, one experiment at a time — because real change happens in small, deliberate steps, not all at once.
